I find it rather challenging to exist successfully without caffeine, and if you’re anything like me then you’re going to love this competition.  Thanks to being part of the Morphy Richards House Proud Innovators’ scheme, I’m able to give away an Arc Filter Coffee Maker to one lucky reader. I think you’ll agree it’s rather good looking!

It doesn’t just get by on being aesthetically pleasing though, retailing for £119.99 the thermal pot holds 1.25l (10 cups) of coffee which will stay hot for 4 whole hours. It’s a cinch to clean with a stainless steel filter and body, plus an anti drip device meaning there is no mess to clean up.

    Hi, Coffee is essential to my life as without it I wouldn’t be here – why – because it is the only fluid I drink!!! I drink at lease 8 cups a day – no water, juice, fizzy drinks, fruit drinks, alcohol – just coffee. I love it !!! I can drink it just before I go to bed too as my body is so used to caffine, it doesn’t effect me anymore!!! LOL!! I would love to win as I spend an absolute fortune on coffee!!!

    I drink at least 6 mugs (or barrels) of coffee a day, and have been doing so since I was five years old. I am a Finn and Finns drink more coffee than any other nation. There are stories of how valuable proper coffee was duringt he wartime rtaioning, and when it was freely available again there were worries for people’s health for skipping meals and just enjoying coffee. This is my vice as well; I could skip eating but not my coffee.

    I have two little boys who seem to wake up at 5.00 AM every morning without fail even if we put them to bed later. I wake up, have a coffee, run around like mad go to work have another coffee and as soon as they are in bed at night it’s coffee time again.     I need coffee due to lack of sleep. Once the baby stops crying the 3 year old cries for mummy and so on until you finally realise it’s 6am and you might as well get up!!! arghh!!!!     Coffee is essential to me now in my life and lifestyle. It is the first thing I have in the morning. I always have sleepless nights and have had these nights ever since my second child arrived in my life. I always have a strong cup of coffee in the morning (6am) to wake myself up and to shake myself out of my zombie like state of having little sleep. It has been like that now for 21 months, about the time I started having coffee !!! Prior to the arrival of my second child – I was an addictive tea drinking, now I only touch coffee.     I don’t have many vices, don’t drink, don’t smoke, (hubby would say I don’t do the other vice either but that’s a stinking lie!) but my one true vice is coffee!
    I drink it strong and black. Got into the habit when I used to travel all around the uk for work and needed to be on train stations, at airports or trekking up a motorway by silly o’clock in the morning.
    I no longer travel..but the coffee habit has stuck and I don’t want to shake it off because I love it so much.

    I don’t like my coffee too early in the morning, I like to wait til kids are off to school, then I can relax and enjoy my coffee in peace and quiet. Bliss!!!
    Wouldn’t we all love love our very own barista! I sure would.

    I can’t get through my day without a good cup of coffee everything from a caffeine filled double espresso in the morning, to a relaxing cup in the afternoon. With the occasional hot cup of decaf in the evening. It’s just a shame that I have to put up with plain old instant coffee at work 🙁

    A cup of coffee – two, three or four, and that’s before I go out the door. The aroma, the taste, pure delight, coffee is nectar day or night.

    Having two children under two means lots of broken sleep and a lot going on during the day – I don’t know how I’d have survived without freshly brewed coffee!!!!
