I’ve had another fun photoshoot with Sharron and Anna for the Good Food Channel website, creating a lovely range of Easter kid-friendly recipes for you to try out this holiday. I love sharing the beautiful pictures that Sharron takes of my food, and hope you enjoy looking at them too.
I’ve also included links to all the recipes I came up with so you can head off and print them out ready for the Easter break.
Fluffy Easter chick cupcakes
Oh my word, how proud was I of these little chaps? Just the best for Easter – so jolly looking that even if the sun doesn’t come out this holiday it won’t matter (well it does matter but you could cheer yourself up with a plate of these)
Easter bunny biscuits
Super simple, but with the addition of a gingham ribbon tied at the neck of each bunny you end up with a potentially gorgeous but inexpensive gift if you pile a bunch of them in a nice storage jar or pretty tin.
Chocolate orange ginger crunch pots
These are a brilliant make-ahead dessert idea that are rich and delicious, so absolutely ideal for your big Easter weekend blow-out lunch! Kids can help crunch up the ginger snap biscuit base while you sort out the chocolatey bit.
Easter nests
It really is obligatory to make Easter nests with your children. It’s just a brilliant little activity to keep little hands busy crushing shredded wheat, breaking up chocolate and giving it all a good mix before spooning it into cake cases.
Easter rocky road
This isn’t my recipe, but I was asked to make it for the photoshoot, and boy was it goooooooooooood! I’m really urging you to make it this Easter… gutbusting but essential for chocolate lovers everywhere.
Thanks for stopping by to browse the pics and recipes, there are a few more non-Easter pictures to share from the shoot, but I’ll save those for another day….
P.S. Just in case you were in any doubt about how much I enjoy these gigs, Sharron seems to have captured my glee quite nicely here…

Such lovely photos – makes me want to make them all – especially the chicks, bunnies and Easter rocky road – all of them! Great shot of you at the end…find a job you love doing and you’ll never have to work a day in your life…! I love your behind the scenes posts, make me want to come along and play, too!
