Feeding Boys played host to October’s round of Bookmarked Recipes, the blog event created by Jac of Tinned Tomatoes which gives cooks the chance to show off all those dishes and bakes they’ve spotted in books, torn out of magazines or bookmarked online.
So now it’s November and I can reveal what goodies everyone came up with…
1. Whipped Macadamia Cream with Berries: The Taste Space
2. Chocolate Jam Doughnut Muffins: Chocolate Log Blog
3. Treacle Cobweb Cake with Speculoos Spread Icing: I’d Much Rather Bake Than…
4. Spiced Pumpkin Blondies: How To Cook Good Food
5. Mexican Style Chopped Salad: Eat Like You Love Yourself
6. Green Bean & Caramelised Onion Chutney: The Gluten Free Alchemist
7. Mexican Spinach Salad With Baked Tofu: The Taste Space
8. Ottolenghi’s Miso Braised Cabbage: The Taste Space
9. Kale Cake: Green Gourmet Giraffe
10. Vegan Caramelised Onion & Potato Pierogi: Allotment 2 Kitchen
11. Cauliflower Tabouli: Searching For Spice
12. Mini Double Chocolate Pecan Pear Crumbles: I’d Much Rather Bake Than…
Thanks to everyone for taking part and apologies that I didn’t get around to making one… half term arrived and any spare baking time evaporated. I’d bookmarked this particularly lovely recipe to make from my baking buddy Lucy’s blog Vanilla Frost.

Her Lime, Polenta & Almond cake is a gloriously gluten free, golden, moist and zesty bake. I tried it when I was helping Lucy run a cake stall a few weeks ago and was instantly sold. You might just want to hop over to her blog for the recipe>>>>

What a great collection of bookmarked recipes Katie, I do love taking the time to try out the hundreds of ideas I keep on my laptop and in books. I really love the look of those vegan pierogi, delicious!
The pierogi look great don’t they Laura. I’m terrible for hoarding bookmarked recipes in folders both online and in reality… I must get around to making more of them!
Wow, you had me swooning at the thought of whipped macadamia cream! And surprising to see a kale cake like mine – i’m not the only madwoman to make it!
Lol Kate! The Kale Cake is so bright green… I can’t even imagine it tasting sweet!
