I was challenged by Mumsnet to do my weekly shop at Lidl to see what kind of fresh meals I could come up with, and how much money I would save in the process. Have you ever shopped at Lidl? If not, I totally recommend giving it a try to see how much less you spend on your weekly groceries. Products are generally a lot cheaper, yet the quality is in my experience fantastic. You might not get the huge range of stuff that you’d find in a larger supermarket, but that also helps me spend a lot less!
