The Christmas recipes just keep on rolling here on Feeding Boys. This time it’s a round-up of the festive recipes i’ve put together for Parentdish this season.
Snowman Cookies
A great holiday baking project once school has broken up and before the presents have been opened. The cookie dough is nice and simple, and freezes well so you could make it in advance ready for your little one to get baking and decorating.
Chocolate dipped honeycomb
Basically it’s home made Crunchie bars that you can make as big as you like!!! A fantastic idea for any home made gifts you might need to whip up for teachers or relatives. Just remember to hide a bit for yourself to relieve any festive stress that might crop up.
Spiced apple traybake with brandy butter cream cheese frosting
I’ve taken all of my favourite festive flavours and put them in this cake. It’s a lighter alternative to Christmas cake and ideal for serving up with a cuppa when relatives and friends pop in over the holidays.
Mini cranberry and white chocolate trifles
It’s not Christmas without some kind of trifle action, and these little treats are a fabulously easy make ahead festive dessert. I’ve put chopped up custard creams in the base, it was a bit of an experiment that ended up tasting delicious. If this sounds revolting to you, feel free to use trifle sponges or madeleines instead!
